Career and Retirement Transition:

What’s Next?

Major transitions of any kind will add stress to our lives. Changes in career, especially movement toward semi or full retirement introduce a variety of transitions… and this can mean feelings of frustration, anxiety, isolation and depression. Shifting focus from a life–long career can lead to a personal sense of loss and additional pressures on our family relationships.

  • What are potential changes ahead and how might these changes impact your spouse and family?
  • How will you continue to grow, learn and love more deeply in this next chapter?
  • How can you best use your gifts and life experience in a way that impacts others for good and further builds God’s Kingdom?

Through a process of exploring your past journey and examining what motivates and energizes you as you look forward, we will guide you in identifying and developing your focus for the future. We will help couples work together in developing a plan that takes into account the unique needs & desires of each spouse. We will assist you to combine your desire to reflect Christ with your gifts, skills and lifetime experiences and knowledge.

These career transitions are a great opportunity to pause, reflect on your past and present story and then to explore new chapters which are consistent with your calling as a follower of Christ.
